Three Ways To Get That Soft And Smooth Skin You Desire
Roughnecks are usually the term referred to men who are well, actually having rough skin on their bodies. These are the type of men who barely fear anything; those who do not squirm and cower in the face of hard work; and we mean really hard work.
Luckily though, we are all not subject to this type of working class that's because some of us prefer to work on a desk, in some floor of an office building pushing papers and making reports. This means that we have an advantage over our working class heroes in terms of being able to manage our skin a whole lot easier.
Taking care of our skin is no easy task, and talking about it is not even the half of it. Our skin protects us from germs; it is what some of us call as our “first line of defense.” But this doesn't mean that we shouldn't take care of it. This is because for such an important thing in our bodies, it still needs the same tender loving care that we show to our other body parts.
Think of it as a medieval soldier's shield, a dull and dirty one that certainly doesn't have the same effect to that of a clean and shiny one when it comes to being noticed, right? So to keep that shield of yours shiny and new-looking, here are a few tips that you can follow.
1. Use some lotion everyday.
Lotion helps moisturize your skin during all those times where your skin gets dry and sometimes to the point of causing it to chafe. If you are the type of person who has the kind of skin that dries up real fast, you definitely need to use lotion everyday.
This helps your skin compensate for all the nutrients and other things that it lacks to keep your skin moisturized, leaving it to feel soft and smooth to the touch and to whatever surface your skin gets in contact with. In fact, if you didn't know yet, there are several types of lotion that cater to specific skin types whether it is damaged, dry, chafed and others.
2. Use soaps with moisturizers.
Sometimes, even when we're unaware of it, it's our soap that causes our skin to dry up faster than you think. If this was the problem, you could easily change the type of soap you use into something that contains moisturizers and other nutrients that is essential for your skin. For people who bathe once or twice a day, this really helps out your skin by not just getting rid of all the germs that have somehow latched on to it, but also to keep your skin nice and smooth.
3. Try using saunas or steam baths.
Saunas and steam baths, if you didn't know, open up the pores in your body, releasing all the dirt and germs that have somehow clogged them up. This means that your body is free to breathe freely through your pores.
