There are several things you can do, and here are some of a few that you could do.

1. Avoid perspiring so much.

Oily skin can have a negative effect on your appearance and your hygiene; this is one reason why you most definitely have to find a way to manage this. Nobody likes to perspire, well unless if you're an athlete participating in some event. This is probably one situation wherein sweating is unavoidable.

Try it out and notice the difference between the days wherein you sweat and those days wherein you don't and you'll find that on days where you don't sweat so much, your face is less oily than it used to at the end of the day. Some ways to avoid perspiring is by avoiding to move around so much, not wearing thick clothing during warm days, and not exerting too much physical effort when it isn't required.

You don't need to wash your face every other hour. This is just a precaution for you in case you do find that your face gets oily. If you can manage to bring a bottle of facial wash that you use at home to your office, this will allow you to be able to wash your face during times wherein you find that you're having an oily face. Aside from avoiding that oily look, this would also serve as a pick me up during times of the day wherein you find it quite hard to resist that little siesta your body has been craving for.

3. Avoid eating oily foods.

What you are is what you eat, so many people believe in this – and you should too. This is because our bodies get their nutrition from what we feed them, and if you tend to eat more of the oily stuff, this will surely have an effect in some area of your body. Chances are, all that oil accumulated over the years may find its way to your face or in any other porous area of your body. So the next time you think about eating all those deep-fried food, think about it first whether it's really worth it.
