Us, men like to rough it out; you know, being roughnecks and all. There's something about us that just wants to be macho and butch.

There's nothing wrong about this, in fact a whole lot of guys wish they could be as rugged and as cool as some guys who can actually pull this look off. Several actors and other cool people seemingly know how to pull this off; what we don't know is that hygiene is still one of the most important things that we should have.

One way to keep clean is to make sure our faces stay clean from any germs and other things that cause pimples, acne and other things. So why should guys use facial washes, anyway? Here are a couple of things at the top of one's head that one should always think about.

1. All that charm and all that good looks could be smeared by even just a single pimple.

Pimples are one thing that teenagers and young men alike all dread to have. This is because it is one thing that nobody wants. Adults could all perhaps recall their own fair share of having to live with pimples, breakouts and other things that affect one's face. What we have that they don't, however, are new products that help us keep those pimples and acne in check.

If you have not gotten around to using one yet, then we suggest that you get your hands on one as soon as possible. There are a whole lot of products out there for you to choose from; in fact, some products even specialize on certain skin types like dry, oily or normal skin. So if you want to look rugged, grow a beard or something, just make sure that you always find the time and the products you need to keep your face nice and clean.

2. Aside from pimples, all those nasty blackheads and whiteheads also affect men just as much or perhaps even more than women.

There are many ways to get rid of blackheads and whiteheads, and not washing your face certainly doesn't help this at all. You will find that it's certainly going to get a lot harder to manage to keep your face clean without some facial care products. So you might probably ask yourself if using products like that is “girly.” Well, they're not. It just makes perfect sense to use these things in order for you to keep clean. Oh and in case you haven't noticed, there are also products that are made especially for men too.

3. If you want your face to look clean and feel smooth, then this is certainly what you need.

Being all macho doesn't mean that you need to have a dirty face; in fact, being clean might just actually be just as big a thing as acting all macho and manly. Having a clean face also helps you act better around the ladies. You know, something like a confidence booster.
