3. Size. Tight dress pants are a no-no. Can you see yourself wearing tight dress pants and find yourself having trouble sitting down? If you can't, then always keep in mind the size. Wear the right size of pants because this can make or break your overall look.

5. Ankle socks don't look good on dress pants. It may look good on a more casual outfit but on a dressy get up it is a no-no. When wearing dress pants your socks should be long enough to end up to the middle of your shins.
6. When you are wearing a belt, make sure that the color matches with your shoes. Too much color on a dressy get up can be rather unsightly.
7. If you're going to wear a belt, do not pair it with suspenders. Suspenders can make you look less confident and pairing it with a belt doesn't do any good.
8. If you are wearing a tie, it should end just above your belt. Shorter ties make you look awkward.
9. Suits go well with dress shoes that have shoe laces. But before you put these shoes on, make sure that these are clean and shiny.
10. Avoid clashing colors because you might end up looking like a clown. Complementary colors will do you some good and in case you have trouble finding these colors, you can always search it on the net.
