Six Shoe Fashion Tips For Men

Some men do have a closetful of shoes that come in various types and designs as well as clothing that matches each and every type of shoes. Despite this, it is still undeniable that most of the male species are afraid to take risks when it comes to fashion. They have the penchant to stay on the safe side or have the tendency to prefer conventional clothing and shoes.

Just because some men are afraid to take fashion risks doesn't mean that we will just leave them alone. All these men need is a little push, a little encouragement and a whole lot of fashion advices. They might be apprehensive at first, but eventually they will succumb to it. For guys who find it too much to go beyond jeans, shirt and sneakers, here are some fashion guidelines that will surely help them with which shoe fits this wardrobe dilemma.

1. Always consider the color of your shoes and the color of your pants. Wear those shoes whose color match or is darker than the color of your pants. Do not wear shoes that are way lighter than your pants. Black pants and white shoes are really not nice to look at.

2. The belt should definitely match your shoes. Too much color in an outfit is really not impressive so if you are fond of wearing belts make sure that the color matches with your shoes. If you're using a black belt go for those black shoes; if a brown belt is being used then go for those brown shoes.

3. When you are wearing jeans try not to wear shiny black leather shoes. This type of shoes are otherwise known as dress shoes, meaning that these are usually worn to a black tie event or formal functions. So when you are wearing jeans, you wear almost every single type of men's shoes except for dress shoes. You can use loafers, sneakers, rubber shoes, boots and even oxfords.

4. Socks are usually worn with shoes but it doesn't have to match the color of your shoes or your pants. If you find that puzzling, you can put it this way and think of it as a tie. Choose your socks the same way you pick a tie to match your suit.

5. Men also love khakis or casual pants. The reason why they love these pants so much is probably because it feels comfortable. You need not worry about which shoe to pair this with because casual pants go well with loafers and oxfords.

6. Going to a dressy affair can cause some wardrobe trouble too. So to be on the safe side, always have a pair that is made of shiny black leather or any shiny material. In other words, always have a pair of dress shoes stacked inside your closet. These shoes should be of the same color or darker than your pants and should match with the color of your belt or vice versa.

There's no need to fear. Always try something new when dressing up and let your shoes guide you on your preferred look of the day.
